A former insurance advisor to the Trump Organization as well as many of America’s wealthiest families, Mr. Bernstein draws on more than 50 years of experience in financial services. He has a been nationally recognized by his peers for his knowledge, innovation, and expertise.
Richard is a longtime member of the Top of the Table and The International Forum – professional industry associations formed to exchange diverse ideas and expertise of the leading life insurance professional in the world. Mr. Bernstein graduated in 1964 from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, having earned the J. Edwin Larson Scholarship in insurance studies.

A recipient of many awards including a Congressional Award in recognition of meritorious service in the private sector and the President’s Award from the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Bernstein is also active in many civic organizations in and around Palm Beach County.
Mrs. Bernstein earned her Bachelor’s Degree from American University in Russian Area Studies and International Studies in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration in Business, Economics, and Strategic Planning in 1981 from George Washington University. Mrs. Bernstein is also a licensed Real Estate Broker Associate with Tina Fanjul and Associates in Palm Beach.

Mr. Bernstein is a television and movie award winning producer, writer, actor, and director including several productions: Walt Before Mickey, Swing State, Brawler, New Life, and Leo And The Shark. Bernstein Executive Produced Mike Huckabee’s Christmas Special Donald J. Trump, Johnny Bench, Joe Namath, Navy Seals, Jon Voight, and other notable guests that had over 5.3 million viewers on Newsmax. Bernstein directed US numerous commercials (Lois Frankel, Sherrif Bradshaw, Jeff Greenwald, Port of Palm Beach, Riviera Beach) and worked on US Customs Classified tv show, Happy Madison at Sony Studios, Adam Sandler’s company. Mr. Bernstein holds a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture and Theater Production with a minor in Marketing from the University of Miami. Bernstein is happily married with two outstanding kids.

Wayne Monek
Wayne Monek is the Director of Employee Benefits at Richard S. Bernstein and Associates, Inc. Mr. Monek has over 50 years of experience in the insurance industry with expertise in employee benefits. Mr. Monek has been with Richard S. Bernstein and Associates since July 1988. Mr. Monek attended Rider University and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.
Steve Edmiston
Steven Edmiston has been in the Life, Health and Annuity Insurance Industry for 45 Years, both in Management Positions in Major Life Insurance companies as well as in the Agency side of the Industry. Steve is an expert in Field Underwriting, Death and Disability Claims, Product Knowledge and understanding the big picture of this amazing business.
Steve is a CLU, FLMI, ACS and holds Life and Health License’s in Florida, Georgia and several other States.
Brian Davis
Mr. Davis is the newest member to the Bernstein team since 2022. He brings an extensive corporate pedigree in accounting, operations, customer service, human resources, and sales support at various levels of management including executive positions from companies such as American Express, Bank of America, Iron Mountain, Waste Management, and The Schwan Food Company. His advanced proficiency with budget and forecast planning provide key strategic structure and guidance to the company.
Pamela Bieneman
Pamela Bieneman joined Richard S. Bernstein and Associated in April of 1998. Through the past 25 years she has advanced to our Senior Employee Benefit Specialist. Pamela excels at servicing all of our group insurance clients with utmost personal care.
Dave Munguia
Mr. Munguia has been with Richard S Bernstein & Associates, Inc. since 2005. Mr. Munguia’s expertise is in life insurance case design and life settlements while handling the firm’s licensing and servicing of the life insurance policies. Mr. Munguia has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and Master’s degree from St Thomas University.
Patricia Alberti
Ms. Alberti, the Executive Assistant of our CEO and founder, is a customer service champion with 25+ years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. Her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and a Postgraduate Degree in Economics helped her to master skills in the development of long-term customer and vendor relationships. Ms. Alberti has worked with multiple customers, including hotels, restaurants, and corporate events. She has been the key to ensuring the best outcomes for each business in which she has been involved.
Maria Soljic
Maria has been supporting employee benefits brokers in South Florida for 15 years. Her analytical eye and understanding of underwriting processes serve as an integral part of our team approach to mitigate risk and health care costs for our clients.
Keren Heitz
Keren Heitz came to Richard S. Bernstein and Associated in August of 2008. As an Employee Benefit Administrator assisting in implementation of benefits packages, enrollments and renewal. Her position helps ease billing, claims, and other service matters that may arise.
